When is Sanya best?
November-March (dry, sunny, 25-28°C, water 24-26°C). April-May is hot and humid. June-October is rainy season with typhoons possible.
Which Sanya beach is best?
Yalong Bay for luxury resorts + clearest water. Dadonghai for budget + nightlife mix. Haitang Bay for shopping (Sanya Duty-Free). All have decent sand and swimming.
Is Wuzhizhou Island worth it?
Yes — China's best snorkeling and clearest water. The coral is recovering (was over-fished). Allow 5-6 hours including travel.
