Yes — UNESCO World Heritage site with 100+ turquoise lakes, multi-tiered waterfalls, and Tibetan villages. One of China's most photographed natural sites.
When is Jiuzhaigou best?
September-October (autumn colors, blue lakes). May-June (waterfall season). December-February (snow scenes, fewer crowds). Avoid July-August (rainy, landslide risk).
Is altitude sickness a concern?
Jiuzhaigou is 2,000-3,100m. Most travelers feel fine but ascend gradually. Huanglong (3,500m) is higher — go slowly, drink water.
How many days at Jiuzhaigou?
2 full days is ideal (one ticket covers 2 days). 1 day covers highlights. The park is huge (720 km²) with three valleys.
