Sí. Instala Pleco (diccionario sin conexión) y una aplicación de traducción antes de volar. La señalización del metro y de las atracciones está en inglés en las ciudades principales; el personal de los hoteles internacionales habla inglés.
¿Cuál es la peor época del año para hacer esta ruta exacta?
Semana Dorada (1–7 de octubre): cada entrada con horario es imposible de conseguir. Evita también la avalancha del Año Nuevo Chino (finales de enero/febrero) y el Día del Trabajo (1–5 de mayo). De mediados de julio a mediados de agosto hace calor y hay mucha gente con viajeros nacionales.
¿Cuánto efectivo necesito realmente?
Casi nada. Alipay (vinculado a una Visa/Mastercard extranjera) cubre el 95% de los comercios. Lleva 500–800 ¥ en efectivo como respaldo para pequeños puestos. No se espera propina.
¿Es esta ruta segura para viajeros solos?
Sí. El principal riesgo es el tráfico: los e-bikes y scooters circulan por las aceras. Mantente alerta en los cruces, especialmente fuera de Beijing/Shanghai, donde los conductores pueden no detenerse. Las mujeres que viajan solas no reportan problemas.
