볼거리와 체험
The lake collects water from the springs beneath the city, keeping it unusually constant through the seasons — the origin of the famous couplet 'four sides lotus, three sides willow, one city mountain color, half city lake'. Paved circuits loop the shoreline past pavilions, an old city gate remnant and pleasure boats.
The lake anchors Jinan's one-afternoon classic: Baotu Spring → Quancheng Square → Daming Lake is the standard 3-km city walk, ending at the lake's north gate by the old city walls.
