How do I get to Hangzhou?
Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport (HGH) has international and domestic flights. HSR from Shanghai: 45 minutes, ¥73. From Beijing: 4.5 hours.
Is a West Lake boat ride worth it?
Yes — the islands (Three Pools Mirroring the Moon on the ¥1 banknote back) are the highlight. ¥55 covers the boat and admission to 3 islands. Sunset rides are most atmospheric.
