Mancheng Han Tombs

An hour northwest into Lingxian's hillside — the tombs of Prince Liu Sheng, who died in 113 BC, and his wife, cut into the rock and found in 1968; his jade suit holds some 2,500 plates and about 1.1 kg of gold wire.

Baiyangdian Lake & Departure

East to the lake country — 143 shallow lakes spread over about 366 sq km, transferred to Xiong'an New Area when it was set up in 2017. Boat lanes, reed banks, and lotus in July and August; evening HSR from Baoding East.
