Qingyan Garrison Town

About 29 km south, a Ming garrison founded in 1378 that turned to stone — walls, gates and flagstone streets. The 1886 examination triumph of Zhao Yiqing, Guizhou's first imperial scholar, is told at his former home. Braised trotters and rose sugar in the lanes.
