Guanghua Temple and Riverside

Guanghua Temple was founded in 558 and keeps a five-storey stone pagoda dated 1165, about 30 m tall; a slow afternoon by Shouxi park's Song bridge rounds out the city half of the week.

Ferry to Meizhou - Ancestral Temple

Cross from Wenjia wharf in about 20 minutes; the 14.35-sq-km island records Mazu's birth in 960, the temple's founding in 987, and UNESCO listed the belief customs in 2009 - stay for the harbour night view.
