Day 1

Arrive via Xingyi

Most arrivals land at Xingyi's airport or HSR station. Xingyi's own sights — Wanfenglin, Malinghe, Wanfeng Lake — have their own pages, so pick up a rental car or a driver and point northeast toward the county towns.

Day 2

Qinglong — Twenty-Four Bends

About 90 km and 1.5 hours north, the 1930s wartime road climbs 24 hairpins in some 4 km; read the whole string from the upper viewing deck, then walk the film-set lanes of Annan Old Town below.

Day 3

Zhenfeng — Twin Cones & Sancha River

An hour south, the twin karst cones of Shuangrufeng rise about 260 metres from the fields; continue to the Sancha River for reservoir walkways, and Bouyei textile workshops in villages nearby.

Day 4

Anlong — Lotus Causeway

The causeway of 1694 runs about 300 m through lotus ponds at their best in July-August. The Tomb of the Eighteen Gentlemen records 18 officials killed in 1654 under the Yongli court; overnight in Anlong.

Day 5

Ceheng Bouyei Villages & Departure

Roughly 1.5 hours northeast, Ceheng's Bouyei villages keep batik and embroidery workshops open to visitors; the 'eight sounds' ensemble plays at festivals such as the third-day-of-the-third-month. Allow 2 hours back to Xingyi for departure.
