About 2 hours north in Yingde's west, more than 1,000 karst pinnacles line a 20-km corridor of fields and villages; the Dongtian Wonderland gorge adds a cave river and a boat passage under the cliffs.

Lianzhou Underground River & Departure

A national 5A site, the cave keeps about 18-20°C year-round; the route mixes a walkway loop with a boat run on the underground stream. The drive back to the HSR station takes around 2 hours, so leave by 3 in the afternoon.
