中国のPOS端末にApple PayやGoogle Payをかざしても反応がなく、店員が「ここでは使えません」と言います。
🔍 MOST LIKELY CAUSE
中国の店舗ではUnionPay QuickPassのQR決済端末が使われており、Apple Pay / Google Payが要求するNFCコンタクトレス規格ではないため。Apple Payが使えるのはUnionPayのNFC対応POS端末のみで、それがある店舗は少数です。
✓ HOW TO FIX
外国のカードをAlipayまたはWeChat Payに登録して、店舗のQRコードを読み取る方式に切り替えましょう。これが最も一般的です。Apple Payは主要ショッピングモールの一部のUnionPay端末でしか使えません。
