Famen Temple & Zhouyuan
East to Fufeng county — the Ming-dynasty brick pagoda half-collapsed in 1981, and the 1987 clearance of the underground palace, sealed in 874, brought out the relic chambers; the new 148 m stupa rose in 2009. Nearby lie the Zhouyuan fields, under state protection since 1982, where a 1976 hoard gave up more than 100 bronzes.
