Long Line — Luorong Pasture

The shuttle climbs past Chonggu Temple at 3880 m to Luorong Pasture at 4150 m, framed by Chenrezig at 6032 m and the twin 5958-m peaks of Jampelyang and Chanadorje. Strong walkers push toward Milk Lake at about 4600 m; everyone else turns early.

A forest walk from Chonggu to Pearl Lake at about 4100 m under Chenrezig's wall — the gentle high point. Keep the pace slow, descend early and fly out or ride on toward Litang.
