Luosifen, Industry & Yaobu

Morning at the river-snail rice-noodle industrial park — the craft joined the national intangible list in 2021 and the city's full luosifen chain sold about 67 billion yuan in 2023 — then the industry museum in old factory halls, and Yaobu old town beside the twin pagodas on Panlong hill.

Chengyang Eight Villages

A long but classic day — about 170 km and 2.5 hours to Sanjiang county, where the Dong villages cluster around the wind-rain bridge built between 1912 and 1924, close to 78 m long and nationally listed; drum towers, oil-tea and a slow dinner back in Liuzhou.
