Xiang Lake Park (湘湖公园, Xiāng Hú Gōngyuán)

What to expect
湘湖位于杭州市萧山区，是浙江母亲河钱塘江的支流湖泊，与西湖并称杭州姐妹湖。湘湖水域面积约5平方公里，湖面开阔，水质清澈，周围山峦起伏，景色宜人。湘湖景区是国家4A级旅游景区，包含湘湖公园、跨湖桥遗址博物馆、极地海洋公园等子景点。湖上有七座古桥，其中压湖山大桥最为著名。
湘湖地区历史悠久，是吴越争霸的历史舞台。越王勾践曾在湘湖边的越王城山卧薪尝胆，留下了卧薪尝胆的历史典故。2001年发现的跨湖桥遗址将杭州地区人类活动的历史上溯至8000年前，跨湖桥文化因此命名。遗址位于湘湖底部，出土了中华第一舟等珍贵文物，现建有跨湖桥遗址博物馆免费向公众开放。
游览建议：可沿湖骑行（环湖约15公里）或乘坐电瓶车（25元/人不限次数）。湖边有租赁自行车点。跨湖桥遗址博物馆值得一看。越王城山可登山，步行约40分钟可登顶，俯瞰湘湖全景。美食推荐：萧山萝卜干、湘湖鱼头、笋干烧肉等当地菜。
