What to expect
丰都鬼城名山古称平都山，是中国道教72福地之一。因西汉方士王方平、阴长生在此修道成仙的传说，被附会为阴曹地府所在地，成为中国鬼文化的发源地和中心。鬼城之说流传广泛，与山东崂山彼岸花地狱、湖北丰都鬼城并称为中国三大鬼文化圣地。
景区分为名山景区和双桂山景区两部分。名山上主要景观有哼哈祠、报恩寺、奈何桥、鬼门关、黄泉路、望乡台、阎王殿等数十处与阴司地狱相关的建筑和雕塑。这些景观通过建筑、雕塑、绘画等形式，形象地展示了中国人想象中的死后世界和因果报应思想。
鬼城文化是中国传统文化的重要组成部分，反映了古人对生死、因果的思考。景区内还保存了大量历史文物和古建筑，如始建于唐代的报恩寺、宋代的双桂堂等。每年农历三月三前后，丰都都会举办庙会，届时人山人海，香火鼎盛，是体验民间信仰文化的好时机。
How to get there
重庆出发最方便的方式是朝天门码头乘船至丰都港（船票约 80-150 元，约 3 小时），下船后步行 10 分钟即到。也可乘动车至丰都站（车程约 1 小时，票价约 40 元），出站打车至景区约 20 元。自驾走沪渝高速约 2 小时车程。

Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street
重庆最核心商圈地标，1940年建成，高27.5米，中国现存唯一抗战胜利记功碑。免费，商场10:00-22:00。地铁1号线较场口站或2号线临江门站出即到。
Liziba Monorail Station
