Getting there: Kunming Changshui (KMG) is the main hub with international flights. Lijiang Sanyi (LJG), Dali (DLU), and Shangri-La (DIG) have airports too.
Getting around: HSR Kunming-Dali-Lijiang: 2h each. Shangri-La has no HSR — fly or 4h bus from Lijiang.

Is altitude sickness a concern?
In Shangri-La (3,200m) yes. Lijiang (2,400m) and Dali (2,000m) usually fine. Kunming (1,900m) feels sea-level-like.
