What to expect
西湖音乐喷泉位于杭州湖滨三公园，长126米，宽6米，设有333个喷头，最高水柱可达60米。喷泉采用最先进的音乐喷泉控制系统，配合灯光和环绕音响，根据不同音乐变换出各种水型，时而轻柔曼舞，时而激昂高耸，配合西湖夜景，视觉冲击力极强。喷泉于2003年建成，是当时亚洲最大的音乐喷泉之一，免费向公众开放，成为杭州夜游的标志性景观。
喷泉表演时长约15-20分钟，曲目包括《梁祝》《蓝色多瑙河》《西湖春天》等中外名曲。喷泉、水幕、灯光与远处的宝石山、苏堤共同构成绝美夜景画面。周边湖滨银泰、in77等商业综合体林立，是杭州最繁华的商圈之一。2016年杭州G20峰会期间，音乐喷泉进行了升级改造，灯光效果更加绚丽。
观看建议：节假日和周末人流量极大，湖边通常挤满人群，建议提前30-40分钟到达湖边占位置，越靠近喷泉中央位置视角越好。喷泉开放期间（19:30-21:00左右）湖滨路实行临时交通管制，禁止车辆通行。湖边有台阶和平台，无障碍通道完善。夏季观看注意防蚊。
