Chongqing Zoo (重庆动物园, Zhōngqìng Dòngwùyuán)
重庆动物园建于1954年，是西南地区规模较大的城市动物园之一。园区占地 43 公顷，饲养了 400 多种近万只动物，其中大熊猫种群数量和繁殖成绩均为全国前列，是观赏国宝大熊猫的重要基地。

What to expect
重庆动物园位于九龙坡区杨家坪，是集动物展示、科普教育、迁地保护于一体的综合性动物园。园内绿树成荫，环境优美，动物馆舍依山势分布，最大程度模拟自然栖息环境。园区内的大熊猫馆是主要看点之一，重庆动物园是国内领先的大熊猫繁育研究基地，繁殖成果斐然。
除大熊猫外，园内还饲养着华南虎、金丝猴、长臂猿、斑马、犀牛、河马、大象等珍稀动物。两栖爬行馆、鸟类馆、灵长馆、食草动物区等各具特色。其中华南虎种群是全国重要的保种基地，对华南虎的迁地保护意义重大。
动物园配套设施完善，设有游客中心、母婴室、餐厅、纪念品商店等。园区导览清晰，重要动物展区配有中英文解说牌。春秋两季气候温和，是动物最活跃、游客最舒适的游览时节。夏季略显闷热，但大熊猫馆内空调恒温，四季皆宜。

地铁 2 号线动物园站 1 号出口，出站即到大门。也可乘公交 416、421、429 路至动物园站。市区打车约 30 分钟，费用约 50 元。

Hongyadong (Huangjuewan)
A 11-floor hillside complex of traditional Chinese stilted buildings rebuilt in 2006 on the site of a Ming-dynasty wall city gate. Famous for its nightscape views over the Jialing River and its illuminated facades that mimic the 1940s Ba-Yu folk architecture. Free to walk through; ¥20 for the observation deck. 1–2 hours.
Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street
重庆最核心商圈地标，1940年建成，高27.5米，中国现存唯一抗战胜利记功碑。免费，商场10:00-22:00。地铁1号线较场口站或2号线临江门站出即到。
