Long Museum West Bund
The Long Museum West Bund (龙美术馆西岸馆) opened in 2014 in the former 2010 World Expo waterfront area (the West Bund / 西岸) of Pudong, Shanghai. The museum occupies a converted 33,000 sqm logistics warehouse — a dramatic industrial space with exposed concrete, steel, and skylights — housing one of the largest private Chinese art collections in the world. The collection spans: (1) modern Chinese art from the 1920s onward; (2) contemporary Chinese art including Wang Jianwei, Zeng Fanzhi, and Liu Ye; (3) 20th century international works; (4) traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy.
