川剧是中国四大剧种之一（京剧、豫剧、越剧、川剧），起源于四川，已有300余年历史。川剧唱腔优美，表演幽默，程式化动作富有特色，其中变脸、吐火、滚灯等绝技最为观众喜爱。
变脸是川剧中最神秘的表演技巧，演员可在瞬间变换不同的脸谱，速度快得令人目不暇接。关于变脸的秘密曾是梨园行规，而今已成为国粹。吐火则是演员从口中喷出火焰，配合武打动作，惊险刺激。
